Welcome to Heart of the City Church Children's Ministries. Our vision is to raise up whole-hearted followers of God. We believe in a having a dynamic ministry that is rooted in biblical truths and serving others while giving children the opportunity to experience God for themselves. In doing these things, we believe our children will be rooted on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ so that when they grow up they will continue to walk in the ways of the Lord. God is the master architect and builder of each unique child, but we as a community of believers and parents are the workers God uses to build up each child.
- Love: Our children would know the love of God and would love others. Mark 12:29-30, Psalm 103:11-12
- Purpose: Each child would be encouraged in their individual giftings and realize their unique purpose in God. Psalm 32:8
- Prayer: Our children would learn to hear Gods voice and build a strong personal relationship with Jesus as their Lord and best friend. 1 Chronicles 16:11, James 5:16

- Honor authority 1 Peter 2:13-14

Our team of dedicated teachers and volunteer helpers works hard to provide a fun environment where children will learn how to worship, pray and read God's Word. Our goal is to help form Christ's character in each child. Our curriculum is tailored to help children discover the limitless love Jesus has for them, and to teach them how to fulfill the Great Commission which is to go and tell the good news of Jesus Christ.
Nursery: Our Children's Nursery places infants to age 4 in a safe environment where your child will be well cared for by our ministry team.
N 2 Y: Never Too Young 4 - Kindergarten is a fun interactive environment where children learn about God and the Bible in a kid friendly way. We have a wonderful team of kid's ministry workers that are all talented and gifted in working with this special age. We believe in building relationships with the children and working with families to help our children grow in love.
Go Kids! 1-5th Grade: Go Kids! focuses on building a personal relationship with God, learning the bible and equipping children to follow Jesus’ command to go into all the world and make disciples. We have an extremely talented and caring group of teachers whom each brings their unique personality to encourage kids in their giftings and build them up in the love of God.
Keeping our young ones safe and secure is a priority. All of our volunteers go through a background check as well as attend quarterly training throughout the year.
